New Jersey Pharmacist Board Registration requiredMinimum of five years of hospital pharmacy experienceFamiliarity will all phases of Hospital Pharmacy operationsFamiliarly with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of PharmacyUnderstanding of role of Pharmacy Department within the Hospital, its interrelationships with other departments and functions Must be skilled in pharmacy computer applicationsDemonstrates competency for IV admixture preparation including chemotherapyEssential Functions:
They are also responsible for meeting the standards set forth in the Registered Pharmacists' job description,As a hands on charge person, to help establish, coordinate and measure daily work functions and job performance of personnel on the evening and weekend shifts in accordance with established standards,Assists in assuring competency of the staff,Works closely with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure that performance standards and operational efficiencies are met,Serves as site Designated Person responsible and accountable for the performance and operation of the Department of Pharmacy and personnel as related to the preparation of compounded sterile preparations or compounded nonsterile preparations,Ensure that the Morris Cancer Center pharmacy operations regarding aseptic medication preparation is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulationsServes as site Designated Person responsible and accountable for the performance and operation of the Department of Pharmacy and personnel as related to the preparation of compounded sterile preparations or compounded nonsterile preparations,Quality Management Utilizes principles of CQI in all work situations,Seeks feedback and recommendations from others to improve the quality, processes and services,Contributes to improving quality services and productivity,Financial Responsibility Effectively allocates and schedules resources,Able to project and appropriately staff the unit and department to effectively function to demand,Utilizes resources, both labor and non-labor to maximize efficiency and quality,Adheres to budgetary guidelines and targets, proactively manages budget variances and causes,Benefits and Perks
