How You Will Make an Impact:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be leading a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals including: efficiency, problem resolution, workplace culture, process improvement, and maintaining a safe work environment.

A Day in the Life:Lead team to meet or exceed operational goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivityImplement process improvements by applying PPI, 5S, and Lean methodologiesAdvise the daily work to ensure schedule completion while leading utilization and efficiency.Trend production metrics to identify areas of improvement.Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellenceEnsures effective performance evaluations are prepared and delivered for all employeesCoach and mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve departmental goals and objectivesMake technical and business risk decisions under real-time pressureEnsures company policies and procedures are adhered toInitiates investigations into process failures, product failures, and safety incidentsInteracts cordially with diverse internal functional groups to tackle moderately sophisticated problems

Keys to Success:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturingDirect supervisory and people management experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing operational efficiencies.Strong ability to hold team members accountable and manage performance.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
