Job Summary

The Machining Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the defined internal production team.  Responsible for meeting internal production KPI’s through standard work and continuous improvement efforts.  The scope includes allocation of work to machines, managing priorities, and managing personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities Develop and motivate team members to achieve desired efficiency, proficiency, and cooperation in creating positive morale. Review and analyze potential scheduling issues and devise/implement procedures to minimize lost time incidents. Review operational schedules, coordinate with production, and manage team members assignments. Direct cross functional HPT to resolve potential machine or process issues. Responsible for execution of standard work on the team. Create and support an environment to encourage open communications and cooperation at all levels of the organization.
