A Grounds Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of outdoor landscapes, ensuring they are well-kept and visually appealing. Here are some key duties and responsibilities typically associated with this role.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Supervision and Coordination: Oversee and schedule the work of grounds maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and managing their daily activities Maintenance and Upkeep: Ensure the health and appearance of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and flowers by performing tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, and pest control Equipment Management: Maintain and repair groundskeeping equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition Safety Standards: Implement and enforce safety standards for all grounds maintenance operations Budget Management: Manage the budget for groundskeeping operations, including purchasing equipment and supplies Inspection and Reporting: Regularly inspect the landscape to determine maintenance needs and prepare reports on work activitiesQualifications:
