**Location/Division Specific Information**
Position reports to Plainville, MA site. Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Viral Vector Services (VVS) is a rapidly growing, dynamic gene therapy contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that is seeking sharp individuals to bring the highest quality processes, products and testing to our clients. **A Day in the Life:**
+ Lead and manage a team of 3-6 manufacturing technicians.
+ Ensure adherence to cGMP regulations and company policies.
+ Promote safety and continuous improvement within the team.
**Keys to Success:**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
**Experience**
+ 4-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
+ At least 2 years of supervisory experience highly desired.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
+ Detailed understanding of cGMPs.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
+ Proven track record in managing diverse teams.
+ Ability to adhere strictly to all PPE requirements within cGMP manufacturing.
**Physical Requirements / Work Environment**
+ This role requires the ability to gown aseptically, sit and stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift, walk, and perform manual tasks.
+ Specific vision requirements are vital to fulfill documentation duties.
