Responsible for managing laboratory analytical, micro & pathogen testing programs.  Responsible for managing and continuous development of laboratory technicians (scheduling, assigning work, and providing training).  Develop written safety procedures that address hazards associated with laboratory-specific operationsBe able to lead the overall calibration process (Lab and factory) by evaluating the required testing to maintain / improve calibrations. Ensure calibrations are accurate by analyzing results.  

Lead microbiological Out of Specifications (OOS) investigations 

Manages the Foreign Material detection programs (MD, X-Ray Validations, destoner etc.) and drives foreign material reduction programsServes as liaison between Plant FSQ Manager, Sr. FS Supervisor (Hygiene) and regional Food Safety to monitor and trend pre-operational sanitation (Sanitation Deviations) performance and microbiological performance of ingredients, in-process and finished products. 

Minimum of 3+ years in Food Plant Sanitation Good knowledge of statistics and interpretation of experimental dataAbility to solve problems ranging from basic to complex.

Compensation Package: $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility 

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
