**Position Purpose:** Supervise the daily operations of the credentialing function and provide guidance and performance feedback to staff
+ Oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing process for assigned business units
+ Oversee staff including performance management activities
+ Serve as the subject matter expert for activities related to credentialing
+ Investigate and resolve complex credentialing issues
+ Be an active participant in departmental planning initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and overall departmental effectiveness
+ Provide training to team members to ensure accurate and timely and credentialing of providers
+ Prepare materials and facilitate Credentialing Committee meetings
+ Collaborate on facilitation of Clean Committee process
+ Monitoring performance to ensure credentialing quality benchmarks are met
+ Assist with and as needed, represent Credentialing during preparation and reviews associated with audit activity (e.g., NCQA, EQRO, Internal Audit)
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within and across departmental lines
**Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of combined management and provider data management, credentialing or healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting) experience, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
