This position supports station performance by ensuring effective staffing, resource planning, and execution of day-to-day operational needs. The Supervisor – Supplier Operations focuses on aligning people, processes, and tools with dynamic flight schedules, real-time conditions, and service priorities. The role bridges forward-looking planning with live shift execution, ensuring frontline and vendor teams remain informed, prepared, and accountable. Through detailed reporting, proactive communication with Resource Planning teams, and oversight of provisioning activities, this role directly contributes to safe, efficient, and well-supported airport operations.
Staffing Forecasting Pre-Shift Readiness
Manage staffing execution and shift readiness through forecasting and pre-shift planning. Align workforce needs with operational demands by leveraging 3-2-1 forecasting, accounting for variables such as weather, holidays, special events, and irregular operations. Ensure staffing plans are accurate, communicated, and positioned to support smooth operational flow.
Lead Real-Time Operational Execution Accountability
Lead live shift execution by monitoring staffing deployment and adjusting dynamically for STAR flights, demand peaks, and operational valleys. Oversee shift banks, manage workforce adjustments, and hold teams accountable for meeting coverage expectations. Ensure operational consistency and responsiveness to evolving conditions.
Reporting Vendor/Resource Planning Alignment
Coordinate regular reporting with Resource Planning (RP) teams and Business Partners to evaluate staffing expectations and performance. Provide insights on team sizes, cadence, coverage quality, and emerging risks. Contribute to the development of solutions that improve alignment between planned and actual execution.
Operational Tracking Documentation
Track and document operational inputs, activities, and outcomes in real time. Maintain shift reports and monitor key operational levers, including MANDO, overtime, auto-assignment, callbacks, and chat escalations. Provide timely escalation to leadership and support Hot Shot team interventions when service or staffing issues arise.
Provisioning, Supplies Systems Integration
Oversee provisioning activities to ensure totes, kits, supplies, and operational tools are delivered, stocked, and aligned with flight and service requirements. Coordinate C3 system integration efforts to improve visibility and accountability for resource usage. Ensure that provisioning processes support both proactive planning and real-time operational responsiveness.
