Supervisor, BPS Claims
**DESCRIPTION** Management of Claims Validation/Administration teams and oversight of the Claims Validation/Administration processes. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Essential Functions:** + Supervise Claims Specialist, Claims Coordinator, Claims Clearing Assistant, to include evaluating associates, assisting in hiring, addressing individual performance issues, workload balancing, and salary recommendations. + Assist with on-the-job training/mentoring of all Claims associates to improve accuracy and timeliness of validation and administration processes. + Ensure that all internal/client timeliness and completeness requirements of claims validation and administration are met and address issues in this area. + Ensure that escalated Claims Management issues are resolved by knowledge, experience, research and communication with internal & externals groups. + Consistently demonstrate the highest level of proficiency in all Claims functions and company policy and procedures. + Endeavor to continually improve the Claims Validation/Administration processes where possible. + Establish work schedules, approve timesheets and complete the Payroll Recap for all Claims Associates. + Serve as a mentor/resource to all Claims personnel in the branch in addressing Claims questions. + Utilizing reporting tools perform desk evaluations to ensure that all claims functions are up-to-date and are being performed accurately and efficiently. + Review the Deduction Reports on the 15th of each month. Work with Business Process Solutions + Associates to ensure we are monitoring the top 20 clients and adhering to our deduction policy within all offices. Any problems should be communicated to the appropriate individuals. Complete the Deduction Status Recap form and provide copies to the Claims Manager. + Create/ maintain a working knowledge of procedures for all clients represented within team of Claims Management Associates. + Maintain excellent working relationships with Customers, Clients and Co-workers. + Perform special assignments for the company and/or branch and/or department as needed. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education Requirements** : + High School Diploma/GED + Bachelors Degree **Experience Requirement:** + Two years of supervisory experience required. + Background in Business Process Solutions and/or brokerage field preferred. **Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:** + Excellent interpersonal skills. + Communicate in formal and informal settings. + Effective negotiator. + Motivate and lead staff. + Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). + Advanced knowledge of document management software. \#DiscoverYourPath **ABOUT US** Acosta is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
