Position Summary
The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will oversee ITT’s Accounts Payable team responsible for processing vendor invoices, payments, and inquiries. The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will lead our AP team through day-to-day operations. The role will report directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable.
Essential Responsibilities Lead and develop Accounts Payable team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and paymentsSupport AP Manager with Month-End close processExecute annual 1099 processDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and reduce errorsAct as point of escalation to ensure timely remediation of complex issuesManage the day-to-day operations of the AP team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Manage Internal Audit Team requests and addressing audit observations as needed.Partner closely with Global AP Shared Services team based in India Position Requirements 6+ years of Accounts Payable experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience requiredDeep understanding of the Accounts Payable processAbility to work with a global team in a matrix organizationExperience with SAP, Serrala and Abbyy is a plusExcellent oral and written communication with proven ability to influence up, down and across the organizationStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented and results drivenBachelor’s degree in business administration, a related field or equivalent experience
