**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazing **Supervising Structural Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to provide engineering and design, analysis, condition assessments, and inspection services for a variety of structural rehabilitation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural engineering, experience with reinforced concrete and steel structural design, and proficiency in AutoCAD drafting.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ The Structural Engineer will perform engineering and design, analysis, condition assessments, and inspection services for various rehabilitation projects, including bridge rehabilitation, tunnel rehabilitation, station and parking structure rehabilitation, shaft structural rehabilitation, retaining wall rehabilitation, bridge load rating, bridge inspections, parking garage inspections, and tunnel and station structural inspections.
+ Review inspection reports and provide civil and structural engineering design or review as assigned.
+ Complete all Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) work for designs.
+ Attend weekly meetings as required.
+ Prepare and distribute correspondence, memoranda, action lists, and related material.
+ Sign or seal engineering documents as required.
+ Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering and 12+ years of related experience.
+ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in AASHTO bridge design or building structural design.
+ Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the following states: Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.
+ Experience as Engineer of Record.
+ Proficiency in both reinforced concrete and steel structural design.
+ Proficient in AutoCAD drafting.
+ 8+ years of experience as an Engineer of Record **(Highly Preferred)**

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
