Our outpatient services are expanding, and we’re seeking a supervising psychiatrist to support our psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) working in the Augusta, GA market.
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Supervising / Collaborating Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and supervision to our PMHNP. The supervising psychiatrist will not be involved in day-to-day patient care, but will review charts, provide clinical guidance, and ensure compliance with state requirements.
Responsibilities
Serve as the supervising physician for a Georgia-licensed PMHNP delivering outpatient psychiatric careReview charts and cases in accordance with Georgia’s supervision requirementsBe available for consults and case discussion as neededProvide mentorship, clinical feedback, and support to ensure high-quality patient careMaintain compliance with state and DEA regulationsRequirements
Board certification in PsychiatryActive, unrestricted Georgia medical licenseActive DEA license with authority to prescribe across all schedulesPrior supervisory experience preferred but not requiredComfortable with remote work and digital collaboration toolsCompensation & Benefits
