Supervising Producer - University of Florida
As an integral part of Learfield’s Always On team and initiative, the Supervising Producer is an extremely important role on the ground at University of Florida that uses in-depth creative and content knowledge built by years of experience to develop, produce and shoot multiple content-driven executions in partnership with the school. Working closely with the centralized (New York) team of Director, Content and Post Supervisor, Editor and a Content Producer they manage, the Supervising Producer will serve as the on-site representative and collaborate closely with the athletic departments, school production teams, and local staff to ideate, create and execute a robust content offering and calendar that will increase fan engagement across school athletic handles as well as generate revenue opportunities for local Learfield sales staff.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Oversee entire Always On offering at University of Florida, including creative, production, distribution, analytics, content strategy and revenue potentialLead creation of episodic video and social content in partnership with school teams to drive fan engagement across social channels and generate revenue opportunities for local and national sales staffOwn and manage the development and execution of 10-15 new narrative/lifestyle series from idea generation through final deliverables, including writing, producing, shooting, and overseeing edit and distribution at University of Florida.Advise on optimal content strategy and plan to increase fan engagement, hit key athletics priorities, and generate revenue locally & nationallyManage Content Producer and resources on ground as well as delegate responsibilities across team to optimize outputProduce, write, direct, and shoot LEARFIELD narrative, serialized shoots at University of FloridaServe as creative lead and supervising producer on all projects in productionUtilize data, content trends, and creative expertise to develop LEARFIELD Studios content strategy and proactive full-year content calendarPitch directly to clients and internal partners and serve as a point of contact for University of FloridaGenerate and execute ideas for brand integration video series for local and national sales and attend client pitches and productionsEnsure that the quality of our content is always at the highest possible level within budget and schedule constraintsWork collaboratively with necessary departments, internally and externally, to ensure all agreed upon deliverables are providedDevelop research, pre-production, production, post production, distribution, and analysis plans for all proactive and reactive series executed by LEARFIELD Studios at University of Florida.Optimize distribution and promotion of content and use data as your co-creative director to fine-tune the creative strategyOwn communication with Athletics, SIDs, Coaches, Assistant and Deputy ADs to produce series and integrate athletics priorities into content strategyManage pre-sale content presentations including estimated performance, distribution strategy, and creative synopsisManage the tracking and evaluation of performance of all campaigns to create and present recaps to partners, sales, and leadership

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 8+ years of work experience in the sports or entertainment industry focused on creating, writing, producing and directing video contentMust have previous experience with shooting and directing video.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present concepts and strategies to executive leadershipPassion for and extensive experience in storytelling to drive engagement with fans/audienceSports and/or entertainment experience a mustAbility to own and produce projects and communicate with external partners as main point of contactExperience working with digital, short-form video, social & influencer-driven content. Narrative storytelling a plus.Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple people across a variety of projects.Direct experience with content creation pipelinesMust have a firm understanding of all aspects of production, including production equipment, lighting techniques, cameras/lenses, audio, guiding the work from production through post when necessaryMust be able to write pitch materials, pre-production plans, and present to internal and external partners.Ability to generate and execute new ideas and concepts that might align with a project's initiativesCreativity in deciding how an idea will be interpreted and representing the idea in executionMust contribute to and thrive in a high energy, high profile, positive, proactive, deadline driven, results oriented, and attention to detail environment.Strong administrative, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.Capacity to manage and prioritize many projects at one time in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Must be highly organized, efficient and precise in his/her work.
