The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced and creative Supervising Producer to lead video coverage for the WSJ Leadership Institute’s live journalism and video platforms. This producer will oversee the production of high-quality video content that supports WSJ's Leadership Institute initiatives, digital platforms and verticals.The WSJ Leadership Institute is a Dow Jones executive learning program that provides business leaders with exclusive insights, peer networking and mentorship to navigate today's evolving challenges. You Will: + Oversee the planning, production and execution of video content for WSJ Leadership Institute events and digital platforms. + Manage video journalists and producers, providing editorial guidance and creative direction. + Develop and produce engaging video content that aligns with WSJ’s high standards of journalism. + Collaborate with WSJ editors, reporters, and event teams to create compelling video storytelling that enhances our journalism. + Supervise the creation of video content optimized for multiple platforms, including WSJ.com, YouTube, social media and emerging digital formats. + Lead the development of video strategies to drive audience engagement and subscriber value. + Ensure efficient production workflows and oversee post-production processes. + Stay informed on industry trends and emerging video technologies to enhance storytelling techniques. You Have: + At least ten years of experience in video journalism, with a proven track record in live video production and digital storytelling. + Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing video teams and production workflows. + A deep understanding of journalistic ethics and commitment to accuracy, fairness, and transparency. + Advanced shooting and editing skills, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop. + Experience working with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to produce high-quality content. + The ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Experience producing video content for digital platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media. + A passion for innovative storytelling and live event production. + A background in business journalism or an interest in leadership, corporate strategy, and economic trends is a plus.
