Traveling Commercial Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects nationwide. This role requires active engagement in hands-on carpentry work and effective coordination of subcontractors, labor, and materials.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed, including framing, installation/repairs, miscellaneous metal work, finishing, and repairs.Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project goals are achieved within the specified timeline.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives.Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a construction site supervisor with hands-on carpentry skills.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Basic understanding of project management principles.Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus.

Work Environment

This position requires 100% travel to various construction sites nationwide. The role offers a great travel package, company allowance/vehicle, and a bonus after a year. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Aberdeen, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
