Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee Tenant Improvement (TI) projects within healthcare facilities across the San Antonio area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare construction, a deep understanding of infection control protocols, and a proven ability to manage fast-paced, occupied-site renovations with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

ResponsibilitiesManage on-site construction activities for healthcare TI projects from start to finish.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality execution.Enforce safety protocols and infection control measures in compliance with healthcare regulations.Maintain daily logs, schedules, and progress reports.Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.Ensure all work complies with local building codes, ADA, and healthcare-specific standards (e.g., ASHE, ICRA).Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in healthcare TI.Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards and infection control procedures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.OSHA 30 certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsASHE or CHC certification is a plus.Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore and PlanGrid.Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence at healthcare facilities across the San Antonio area. The Superintendent will manage tenant improvement projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
