Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description

Actalent is seeking a dedicated Superintendent of Construction who will manage construction schedules for ground-up multifamily projects. This role involves ordering materials to ensure their timely delivery, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring timely and quality work, and managing site safety. The successful candidate will communicate with all designated parties regarding the status of project schedules, conduct daily quality control inspections, and hold on-site safety and construction meetings. They will also inspect all trade contractor work and supplier deliveries prior to approving invoices for payment.

ResponsibilitiesManage construction schedules for ground-up multifamily projects.Order materials to ensure timely delivery to job sites according to schedules.Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality work and manage site safety.Communicate with designated parties regarding project schedule status.Conduct daily quality control inspections to ensure compliance with plans and quality standards.Hold on-site safety and construction meetings regularly.Inspect all trade contractor work and supplier deliveries before approving invoices for payment.Essential SkillsExpertise in construction management and construction scheduling.Ability to manage subcontractors effectively.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Experience with multifamily projects, particularly wood framing.Ability to manage three-week look-ahead project schedules.Strong quality control capabilities.Experience handling RFIs.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 5 years of construction management experience.Ability to read and understand construction plans.Experience in multifamily projects is required.Proficiency in construction software.Work Environment

The role is based onsite in Beaverton/Sherwood, working on four-story apartment buildings with elevators. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
