Superintendent – Large-Scale Data Center Construction

Location: Upper Midwest (Remote Sites)

Project Overview

This multi-phase data center development includes several buildings, each approximately 1 million square feet, supporting 150 MW of capacity per phase. The total site potential exceeds 1 GW, with guaranteed work spanning 2–2.5 years, and possible extension to 5–7 years. Construction includes:

Deep foundations (pipe pile and pile caps)Precast insulated wall panels and double-T roof systemsSite work, including roads, ponds, and underground utilitiesWinter construction strategies, including temp walls and heat systemsCoordination with multiple subcontractors and excavation teamsRole Overview

Lead field operations on a fast-paced, evolving data center project. You’ll manage daily site activities, coordinate with trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence in a high-performance environment.

ResponsibilitiesDirect site operations and subcontractor activitiesManage precast erection, deep foundations, and site utilitiesAdapt to changing scopes and fluid work plansMaintain safety, quality, and productivity standardsCommunicate proactively with project teamsQualifications5+ years of construction experience, preferably with large-scale industrial or data center projectsStrong leadership and coordination skillsExperience with precast systems, deep foundations, and winter logisticsProficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore)Willingness to work a 6-day schedule and travel between remote sites
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
