Job Title: Framing Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Framing Superintendent to join our team and support our construction subcontractor specializing in commercial wood framing. This role is integral to our projects located in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, focusing on multi-family, assisted living, and student housing projects.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Oversee all daily jobsite activities and construction personnel, including in-house crews and subcontractors.Coordinate subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and resource-loading, particularly related to commercial wood framing.Collaborate with the project manager during the construction phase to budget, manage, and forecast labor, equipment, materials, and other costs.Essential SkillsPrevious work experience in framing construction.Commercial construction experience.Experience supporting projects $1 million and above.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Primavera, and MS Office for project management, scheduling, and documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30-Hour Certification.First Aid/CPR Certification.Work Environment

This position is based onsite at project sites, with 25% located locally in the DMV area and 75% located in the southern states (GA, FL, NC, SC). Travel arrangements are provided for all travel. Projects typically average $7 million in size. Potential for remote/hybrid work schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $76.92/hr.
