Position: Traveling Superintendent
Location: Southeast Region
Compensation: $120,000–$170,000 Annually

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations for heavy civil and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to safety, quality, and team success.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate project updates clearly and promptly to all relevant stakeholders. Understand project scope and proactively identify risks and opportunities. Develop and execute detailed project work plans aligned with overall goals. Ensure all work is performed safely and meets quality standards the first time. Lead daily planning sessions to prepare crews for successful execution. Review timesheets and use quantity logs to verify labor and production accuracy. Maintain and update a two-week lookahead schedule in alignment with the master schedule. Track project progress through daily reports, job photos, and labor hour reviews. Align manpower and equipment for maximum efficiency and productivity. Foster development opportunities for field personnel and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Safeguard company and rental equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Report all incidents, near misses, rework, and safety concerns in a timely manner. Maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and professionalism. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast Participation in pre-employment and random drug screening Ability to pass a background check Preferred: Experience in heavy civil, roadwork, or infrastructure projects Strong leadership and communication skills Familiarity with construction planning and scheduling tools
