Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale federal government projects. The successful candidate will ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all federal, contractual, and quality standards. This role is pivotal to the successful execution of recently awarded projects and those anticipated in the near future. Responsibilities + Supervise all on-site construction activities and field personnel. + Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules. + Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and daily work plans. + Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations and communicate regularly with project managers and leadership. + Implement and enforce safety standards and compliance with all job site regulations. + Maintain daily logs, track progress, and resolve issues in real time to minimize delays. + Support close-out processes and punch lists for project completion. + Uphold high standards of quality control and work performance on-site. Essential Skills + 4-5 years of proven experience as a Superintendent on construction projects, preferably on military bases (DoD, NAVFAC, USACE, etc.). + Deep understanding of contracting, site safety protocols, and project documentation. + Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and field teams. + Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading. + Familiarity with quality control processes and working alongside QC managers. + Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining government clearance/base access. Additional Skills & Qualifications + OSHA 30 or EM 385-1-1 certification. + Experience working under NAVFAC/USACE standards. + Prior military construction experience (buildings, infrastructure, renovation). + Ability to support onboarding and train a second superintendent as projects expand (anticipating multiple hires). + Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
