Superintendent
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of multifamily construction projects in the Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in multifamily residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: + Supervise all field operations on assigned multifamily construction sites. + Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. + Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and local building codes. + Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues. + Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks. + Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients. + Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation. + Lead site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. + Assist in budgeting, procurement, and scheduling as needed. Qualifications: + Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in multifamily construction. + Proven track record of managing ground-up and/or renovation multifamily projects. + Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. + Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project). + OSHA 30 certification preferred. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Attributes: + Local knowledge of Knoxville and surrounding areas. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $55.29/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
