ELITE Public Schools Student Intern Job Description Classification: Classified Reports to: Intern Supervisor and Principal Work Year: Part-time, per diem Location: School We are seeking a talented and motivated student intern to join our team! This opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience by selecting from a variety of tasks, including technology, governmental relations, video production, and instructional support. As a student intern, you'll work on meaningful projects, deepen your understanding of the field, build industry connections, and develop essential hard and soft skills. Internships often serve as valuable stepping stones to full-time career opportunities. Responsibilities Follow departmental policies, procedures, and professional conduct guidelines. Arrive on time and fulfill the agreed-upon work hours. Inform your supervisor in advance if you are unable to attend as scheduled. Maintain a professional appearance suitable for the workplace. Uphold confidentiality regarding workplace matters, employees, and clients. Take initiative—if work is slow, volunteer for additional tasks or projects. Communicate any concerns with your supervisor and, if necessary, your Principal. Qualifications Analyze personal skills, values, and interests to identify the ideal work environment. Must be an ELITE Public Schools high school student who has successfully completed all A-G graduation requirements.
