We’re hiring an experienced machining professional to teach Intro to Machine Tools I. The ideal candidate will guide students through the foundational principles and hands-on skills needed for careers in precision machining and manufacturing. Responsibilities: + Teach the safe use of machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders + Demonstrate measurement techniques and blueprint reading + Supervise hands-on machining exercises + Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback + Plan an authentic final project in which students apply their machining skills to create a functional or precision-crafted component Program Duration: 6 Weeks Location: CiTi BOCES, Mexico Campus Time/Days of the Week: TBD by Instructor Stipend: $6,000 Job Qualifications + Proficiency in the operation and safety of manual machine tools + Industry experience in machining or manufacturing + Ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerances + Strong communication and instructional skills + Teaching experience is a plus Familiarity with safety standards in an industrial setting Application Deadline:05/30/2025 Job Number: T04302025.1
