Summary
ASM GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Suite Attendant for Adventist Health Arena. Responsible for working in the Suites for the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction. Perform all guest contact activities such as serving food and beverage, answering guest questions, etc. in a cordial, efficient and professional manner. Ensure that the food and beverage is served while maintaining a consistent presentation and proper temperature. Assist in food, beverage, equipment, China, glass and silverware inventories on a predetermined basis. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (including other departments). Enforce all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements. Organizing equipment for an event as well as cleaning, maintaining, and looking after equipment during and after functions. Make sure all storerooms are clean, organized and secured.
Immediate communication of special requests, guest problems or concerns to, Suite Supervisor. Follow all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure and energy efficient. Follows all rules and regulations which apply to the food and beverage operations and to ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division. Ensure the proper handling and cleaning of all equipment, China, glass and silver. Perform any reasonable requests assigned by management for the arenas staffing and performance needs.

Verify and set-up all pre-game/event ordersIdentify suite host and properly introduce yourselfTake and place game day food and beverage orders-Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event-Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as neededMaintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the eventObtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely mannerClear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite-Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions-Check out with supervisor or manager QualificationsMust have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyaltyMust follow all ASM GLOBAL-SAVOR policies and proceduresMust be present for all major events at the Arena Education and/or ExperienceMust be 21 years or older.Education and/or Experience
Minimum one-year formal experience as Banquet Server for a conference center banquet facility, arena, full service hotel or restaurant operation.Skills and Abilities
Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards-Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training-Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues-Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously-Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment

Computer skills are not required.
Other Qualifications

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $16.50
