Overview Sugarloaf is currently seeking an Assistant Patrol Director to enhance our resort leadership team. The Assistant Patrol Director works in coordination with our Patrol Director to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our guests while mentoring and developing the Patrol team. In this pivotal role, you will lead on-hill risk management initiatives, execute mountain rescues, respond to medical emergencies, and collaborate closely with resort managers and team members to drive the success of both daily and long-term operations. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing staff supervision and development, resource allocation and management, risk management, and emergency scene management. Leading ongoing training and staff development initiatives. Performing all duties of other patrol leaders and line staff as needed from a teamwork perspective. Assisting with the administration of the Patrol department, including hiring and onboarding. Assuming full department management responsibility in the absence of the Patrol Director.
