Job Summary: The Succession Consultant serves as a trusted partner to financial professionals by providing proactive, solutions-oriented support related to succession, acquisition, and continuity planning. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with clients through regular phone, email, and occasional in-person interactions, ensuring a high level of service and strategic guidance. The consultant collaborates with internal teams and clients to develop or refine business continuity and succession strategies, offers expertise on acquisition financing and practice valuations, and maintains deep knowledge of industry trends, competitive programs, and lending solutions. Essential Duties Provide proactive service and problem-solving to SAS clients via incoming and outgoing telephone calls, voice mail, e-mail and occasionally in-person requests professionally and courteously Interact with SAS clients to proactively develop strong business relationships and provide resources in support of growth and development of client's financial practices Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SAS clients to establish or update functional continuity and succession plans Maintain knowledge of valuation processes and lending for securities and investment advisory practices Consult with clients on succession planning, acquisition financing or continuity plan implementation and providing advice and guidance as necessary Maintain a thorough understanding of industry knowledge of key topics affecting major competing Broker Dealers including internal and external programs being offered to financial professionals and branches Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an intermediate level of experience, typically around 5 or more years, with Mergers & Aquisitions (M&A), corporate development and business strategy within the financial services industry. Compensation: $55,000-$75,000 Salary plus incentive compensation based on successful completion of acquisitions. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
