Eastside Christian Schools is hiring teachers who love Jesus, love His children, and are wanting to share the love of Christ in an academic school setting. --> Substitute teacher for K-12 Private Christian School --> Long-term position available

Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print    Adapt teaching methods and materials based on varying grade levels. Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure a smooth transition for students. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Implement behavior management strategies as needed to promote a safe and respectful classroom. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in student learning experiences. Requirements / Qualifications

Strong candidates will have • An authentic relationship with Christ • A love of students and learning • At least 1 year(s) of professional experience working with youth Kinder-12th grades • Completed their BA or BS at an accredited college or university • General knowledge of child care • Short commute to our school • Flexible and open schedule • A teachable heart • High regard for diversity in the student population • Strong communication skills • Patience, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. • Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, materials, and student records. • Grace and respect for colleagues, parents, and families Credential Requirements: • BA or BS degree required • At least 1 year of experience with students ages K-12 Required Documents: • Resume • One (1) or two (2) References
