ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Implement lesson plans and instructional goals provided by the regular classroom teacher. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. • Manage student behavior respectfully and in alignment with school expectations. • Take and record attendance accurately. • Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties. • Communicate with the regular teacher or division assistant at the end of the assignment to relay key updates or notes. • Be prepared to teach across various subjects and grade levels as needed.

Independent school teaching experience preferred. • Ability to manage a classroom confidently and positively. • Comfortable using technology in support of classroom instruction. • Must reside locally and be available for on-campus assignments. • Subject area knowledge for Middle and Upper School positions. • 12 ECE units for Early Childhood substitute roles. • California teaching credential (preferred for Lower School Lead Teacher substitute roles).
