Qualification: x Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Subsea Engineering or other similar disciplines relating to upstream oil and gas from a recognised university.
Experience: x Minimum five (5) years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role. x Knowledge of relevant international standards and Codes of Practice, Shell DEP and competent in the design, specification, repair, and selection of pipeline systems. x Chartered Engineer/ Professional Engineer with professional bodies of Engineers is desired. x Computer literate. x Good command of English language. Shall read, write and speak fluent English. x Experienced in pipeline integrity and management systems and of managing, maintaining, and coordinating offshore subsea inspection team. x Extensive knowledge and field experience in subsea pipeline inspection, repair & maintenance (IRM) techniques and equipment. x The role holder will be responsible for providing advanced level of technical expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to subsea pipeline operations and maintenance. x Experienced in leading technical role and supervision of subsea pipeline engineers and associated technical staffs. x Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority. x Self-starter/self-management/self-drive and ability to work without close monitoring. x Resilient under pressure (both internal and external). x Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues
