We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert work with our development teams on military aviation technology solutions, combining technical expertise and mission knowledge. This role requires understanding Air Mobility Command missions, aircraft and aviation data. Responsibilities: As an integral member of our team, you will hone your skills in backend and frontend technologies to support aircraft specific solutions and integrate with flight hardware. Successful candidates will engage in: * Aircraft/data expertise and advice to the development team. * Interfaces with customers and end users to understand complex systems requirements. * Translates complex systems requirements to the team. * Evaluation and assessment of Mission Planning products. * Prepares/presents technical briefings to customers, management, and staff * May assist in the preparation of proposals, project plans, quotations, white papers, and process improvement materials. * Knowledge of aircraft, weapons, mission planning and service and joint air operations * Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities * Self-direction in fast-paced environments. * The ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret or higher security clearance Our teams work a 9/80 compressed schedule Preferred: * DoD aircrew experience * Experience with software development or the software development lifecycle * Knowledge of DOD acquisition practices Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
