About the Role:

As a Subcontracts Officer, you’ll provide essential support to our Supply Chain team by managing subcontractor and supplier records, ensuring documentation is processed accurately and in line with governance frameworks. You’ll be a key contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, helping them understand and follow subcontracting processes.

This role suits someone with exposure to contracts or a strong interest in learning contract management. Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate is highly regarded — but above all, we value attitude, clarity in communication, and a commitment to process.

This role is based in our Toowoomba office, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage subcontractor documentation and supplier records Ensure compliance with governance and reporting requirements Support onboarding and compliance activities for subcontractors Assist in the purchasing of goods and services by managing Supply/Subcontract Agreements and contract documents (e.g. variations) Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth workflows Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance review processes Facilitate meetings with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance and engagement Promote open communication with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring:

Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidence to uphold governance and explain procedures clearly Exposure to contracts, procurement, or supplier management (or a willingness to learn) A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors is beneficial Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); SAP experience is an advantage but not essential
