Subcontracts Administrator
The Subcontracts Administrator will be responsible for the administration of subcontracts within our Defense Industry operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing contracts, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments. The Subcontracts Administrator will manage the entire subcontract lifecycle, from initiation through negotiation, compliance, and close-out. This role involves the preparation of subcontract documentation, monitoring contractor performance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders. The Subcontracts Administrator will have a solid understanding of subcontract management principles, familiarity with legal and contractual obligations, and a strong grasp of financial considerations and market dynamics within the Defense Industry. Key Responsibilities: + Administers subcontracts for Defense Industry projects, ensuring contractual compliance and alignment with company objectives. + Supports the procurement process by drafting and reviewing subcontract documents and agreements. + Maintains accurate records of all subcontract activities and documentation. + Monitors subcontractor performance to meet contractual obligations. + Coordinates with project managers, finance, legal, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive subcontract management. + Assists with the negotiation of terms and conditions and resolution of contractual issues. + Ensures compliance with government contracting regulations, including FAR/DFAR, as applicable. + Facilitates effective communication between the company and subcontractors. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. + Typically, 5+ years of experience in subcontract administration or a related field within the Defense Industry. + Familiarity with government and commercial contracting regulations and compliance (e.g., FAR/DFAR). + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Effective communication and negotiation skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. + Advanced degree in a relevant field or professional certification such as CPCM or CFCM. + Experience with cost and price analysis in subcontract proposals. + Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. + Proven track record of implementing process improvements in subcontract management. \#LI-JW2 **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
