Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Study Coordinator to assist in human subject research, focusing on wearable devices in an exercise setting. The role involves monitoring participants and collecting data as they use various technology products.
ResponsibilitiesConduct research with human participants on wearable devices.Monitor participants and collect data throughout sessions.Obtain consent from participants and take necessary vitals and measurements, including height, weight, and EKG.Ensure participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment.Observe participants during various activities in accordance with protocol.Ensure data monitoring and collection is functioning properly.Guide participants throughout the study process.Essential SkillsExperience in research and data entry.Ability to implement protocols effectively.Science, exercise science, kinesiology, or biology.Technical proficiency in operating test devices and performing data entry.Strong interpersonal skills for directing participants.Knowledge of gym equipment and exercise.Ability to stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in human subject research and data analysis.Experience as a personal trainer.Work Environment
The work environment includes morning and afternoon shifts, with flexibility to accommodate school schedules. Shifts are 6 hours each, starting at 7:30 AM and ending at 9:00 PM. Participants can work either shift, or both, depending on their availability. The role requires standing for long periods, some desk work, and interaction with participants in a simulated environment. Some activities may be conducted outdoors. The dress code is casual yet presentable, suitable for active participation. Lunches are provided, and training is typically conducted during the day shift, with accommodations for evening shift participants if needed. Opportunities exist for double shifts. The study runs through the end of the year, potentially extending into early next year.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
