Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. Your New Role
This Studio Assistant position is based at Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, which provides sound and picture post production as well as Dailies services for feature films and television. WBDLL comprises of comprehensive facilities including Sound Re-Recording and ADR stages, Grading Theatres, Preview Theatres and a full complement of highly-equipped supporting departments in addition to 40 cutting rooms and a café based in the heart of Soho and at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
This role is dynamically assigned on a per project basis to assist the Mix Technician team and clients during a mix, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the studio.
Your Role AccountabilitiesAssist the Mix Tech team in managing backroom operations.
Operate studio and machine room equipment competently, following training and guidance.
Participate in training new runners when required.
Monitor studio cleanliness and maintenance, reporting issues to the Maintenance department.
Keep all working areas clean and tidy at all times.
Produce daily report sheets and prepare a personal weekly timesheet.
Liaise with operational and managerial staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Strive for exceptional client and staff satisfaction in all tasks.
Adhere to the Health and Safety policy.
Provide support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications & ExperienceHND or higher qualification in Sound, with a focus on Engineering, Mixing, or Editing, with an understanding of post-production workflows, especially in sound.
Knowledge of Mac OS and Avid Pro Tools.
Experience in a film or TV audio post-production environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and a strong ability to understand & address client and team needs diplomatically.
Skilled in prioritising tasks and multitasking effectively.
Proven team player with a collaborative approach.
Calm and effective under pressure, even in challenging situations.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time (40-hour/week), permanent position based fully onsite at our Soho London Location.
You must be able to work within a shift pattern as well as ad hoc timings that may include evenings and weekends.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.How We Get Things Done…
