Emerging ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) regulations are being implemented to mitigate potential impacts like carbon emissions. This regulation includes carbon pricing and mandatory reporting of greenhouse gas emissions.Achieving these goals requires active engagement with stakeholders and suppliers to evaluate their sustainability performance. Additionally, collecting data from the supply chain to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with ESG requirements. 

 

To support Danfoss Climate Solutions in ensuring ESG implementation, we are looking for a student worker to join our Sustainability Team, with an expected workload of 10 - 15 hours a week and flexibility in exam periods. 

 

The position is involved in projects with a special focus on ESG-related requests and surveys, stakeholder management, and maintenance, handling of customer requests, and ad-hoc support from other team members on a variety of sustainability tasks focusing on coordination, documentation and overseeing processes. 

 

Besides working with ESG customer requests, the position also involves contributing to our product sustainability initiatives. We are continuously publishing new Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to demonstrate our product’s environmental impacts based on Life cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. For that we are looking for a person to support the documentation management phase to enhance our process of working with EPDs.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will get the opportunity to take part in a variety of tasks, and your main responsibilities will include:

Handle customer requests regarding ESG topics. Review and answer customers’ ESG requirements and surves. Align with stakeholders to coordinate the completion of ESG questionnaires. Ad Hoc Tasks supporting the Sustainability Team. Update all EPDs and handle documentation management. Facilitate the collection of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data and contribute to foundational LCA communications. Supporting tasks related to EHS (Environment Health & Safety). What We're Looking For

Preferably you are in the process of completing a bachelor or have just embarked on your master’s degree within sustainability, chemical engineering, or related studies, and we value that you:

Have solid analytical skills, attention to details. Have a very structured way of approaching tasks. Enjoy working with large amounts of data and information. Have good data management skills. Have basic general IT skills and advanced Excel skills. Are thorough in your way of work, proactive and result driven. Have the ability to ensure high-quality deliveries on time.


To succeed in this role, you must be a quick learner and have good English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

You stand out at working independently on assigned tasks and are eager to tackle a diverse range of challenges, including strategic, operational, and practical tasks.
