We are looking for a talented and ambitious **student worker** to support our Decoration Development team in the LEGO Group, R&D Processing organization. The position is based in Billund where you will join a team formed by 10 colleagues. You will have a large degree of flexibility in relation to which weekdays fits best with your schedule, and you will get support from your colleagues, when learning all you need in order to use the systems and how to perform your daily tasks. You can expect 10-15 hours a week with the needed flexibility around exams. **Help mature new decorations** You will join the Decoration Development team who are responsible for bringing the received design intent into manufacturable graphics for new LEGO® Bricks ready to run with speed and efficiency in our global production sites. We also provide support and specialist knowledge regarding the graphics and processing of graphics to our global production sites, in order to continuously improve and optimise our running production. As an integrated student worker of the team, you will contribute to: + Prepare graphic for pad-print processes + Separation of colors in graphic + Create overlap and perform trapping + Create cliche files + Based on received design intent received from the graphic designer, you will help spot graphical issues and challenges based on defined technical requirements. + Communicate and follow up with graphic designers, to ensure that graphics are delivered for production according to requirements and in due time. + Support new continuous improvement ideas for the graphic prepress process **Do you have what it takes?** Besides being ambitious and eager to learn, you are helpful and known as a team player, who can collaborate with colleagues from around the world. Your background: + You have an interest in working with graphics and already have experience working with Adobe Illustrator. + You are pursuing a mid-/long term education in a relevant field like Graphic designer, Graphic artist, Industrial Designer, Design Engineer or other relevant studies at a Danish University or Graphic/Design Academy + Advantage if you have knowledge of flexographic or pad printing + You are a team player, and has an eye for the detail + You have a good theoretical understanding of technical design principles and materials + You speak and write English + You can work 1-2 days a week physically at our office in Billund Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
