Job Title: Student Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary:
The Student Ultrasound Technologist at Grandview Medical Center is an opportunity for students currently enrolled in an accredited ultrasound program to gain hands-on experience in diagnostic sonography. Under the supervision of licensed technologists, the student will assist with performing diagnostic sonographic examinations, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment. Shadow and support technologists in locating, evaluating, and recording critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Help schedule and coordinate tests, ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient flow. Observe and maintain proper documentation of test results and operational logs. Learn to calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment under supervision.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Strong interest in pursuing a career in diagnostic medical sonography. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold patient care standards.
