GovCIO is currently hiring for Student Support Manager to ensure a positive and effective learning environment. This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be an on-site position.
ResponsibilitiesOversees the support and training related to the LMS to ensure a positive learning experience. Manage a team, developing support resources, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize the LMS's use for learning and teaching.Provide escalated support for complex LMS issues, including troubleshooting technical problems and developing solutions.
Provide expert guidance and support to students on LMS functionality, course design, and the use of third-party education.
Working closely with academic departments, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure the LMS meets the needs.Monitoring LMS usage, analyzing student feedback, and generating reports on performance and effectiveness.Identifying areas for improvement in the LMS and its support services, and implementing changes to enhance the student experience.Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting and resolution.Ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical problems, minimizing disruption to student learning.Keeping up-to-date with the latest LMS trends and best practices. Qualifications
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Clearance Required: Secret6+years of experience overseeing student support services for training programs, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment.Skilled in student support, problem-solving, communica-tion, and process improvement.Proficiency in using and supporting LMS platforms (e.g.,Blackboard)***PENDING CONTRACT AWARD***

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
