Work Location Springfield Campus Department Center for Community Engagement Hiring Range 13.75 Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours 8a.m.-5p.m. How many hours per week are required? 8-10 Description of Primary Duties Front Office Support - Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, including students, faculty, staff, donors, and community agency representatives. Greet and assist visitors with questions about programs, events, and resources in a friendly and professional manner Manage incoming emails and in-person inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses or referrals Community Engagement, Bear Pantry, and Public Affairs Support Assist in planning and promoting events, such as service projects, donation drives, workshops, and fairs. Assist with daily operations of the Bear Pantry
Required Qualifications Applicants must be enrolled at Missouri State University. The student must maintain good academic standing (at least 2.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale), good disciplinary standing, and be a full-time student, enrolled in 3+ credit hours over the summer and enrolled in 6+ hours in the fall and 6+ hours in the previous spring semester. Required Certifications Additional Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with General computer literacy or willingness to learn.
