This position oversees scholarship management systems across multiple departments within these colleges/schools. In addition, this position will support the LAS student success team. As an integral part of the LAS shared services initiative, this position supports student success by supporting effective academic programming and enhancing coordination in alignment with the University of Utah’s Impact 2030 strategic goals. **Responsibilities** + Manage scholarship databases across all LAS colleges/schools, ensuring consistent processes while respecting each unit’s unique academic culture and mission + Develop and maintain scholarship application platforms and review systems consistent with university standards + Coordinate selection committees and review processes, as needed, in collaboration with department chairs and college deans + Serve as a liaison with the University of Utah’s Financial Aid Office, University Advancement, and individual college departments + Collaborate with LAS student success leadership team on the implementation of student success initiatives, e.g., Navigate U + Implement data management and assessment systems for LAS student success programming + Support student recruitment and success events organized by LAS schools and colleges + Support coordinated academic scheduling efforts across LAS + Support LAS new student orientation planning and coordination + Serve as a liaison with the University of Utah’s Financial Aid Office, University Advancement, and individual college departments + Generate comprehensive reports on scholarship distribution, demographics, and outcomes for LAS leadership + Serve as the primary point of contact for scholarship-related inquiries from students, faculty, and staff **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
