Posting Details Posting Information Requisition 202500255ST Title Student Employee- Strategic Enrollment and Innovation- Cloud Application Support Student Worker Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position Yes Department Strategic Enrollment and Innovation Division Division of Enrollment Hours per week 20-28 Hiring Rate $8.00 an hr Preferred Student Classification We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable student worker with strong communication and analytical skills to join our Cloud Application Support Team. The role offers hands-on experience in implementing cloud security practices and maintaining secure access to cloud-based systems that support the university’s operations. As a valued team member, you will gain practical knowledge in cloud technologies, collaborate with IT professionals, and contribute meaningfully to the security and documentation of critical information systems.
Nature & Purpose of Position Responsibilities include: Password Management: Assist in updating legacy passwords across multiple systems in accordance with security policies. Documentation Development: Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for: Managing permissions Adding/removing users Updating roles on systems not fully managed by central IT Security Training & Awareness: Complete required security training modules to build foundational knowledge in cybersecurity best practices. Client Consultation: Collaborate with system owners to understand their cloud environments and document system usage, configurations, and security practices. Support Security Initiatives: Contribute to the implementation of security controls and assist in compliance efforts for cloud-hosted applications. Other duties as assigned.
