Posting Details Posting Information Requisition 202500257ST Title Student Employee-Math/Stat Office-Assistant Employee Class Student employee College Work Study Position No Department Dept of Mathematics and Statistics Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week up to 20 hours a week Hiring Rate $10.00 Preferred Student Classification Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Graduate Student Nature & Purpose of Position The student employee will provide direct professional assistance to office staff and the department chair. This includes being the first point of contact for all visitors to the office. The student employee will have frequent contact with students, and they will respect FERPA guidelines. The student employee must be organized, punctual, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Job Duties, but not limited to: Greet each guest and direct them accordingly Answer phone at front desk, file, and run errands on campus Monitor and restock supplies in work room, supply room and faculty/staff lounge with needed supplies Distribute mail Process copy jobs Other duties as assigned Other Requirements for the Position Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The student employee will be required to work during the summer and days the university is open whether classes are in session or not.
