Requisition 202500125ST Title Student Employee-Academic Success Center-American Sign Language (ASL) Tutor Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position No Department Academic Success Center Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week Hiring Rate $10 Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position The Academic Success Center will support students in advancing their competencies in ASL. Tutoring sessions offered will be conducted either face-to-face or online to support individual requests or small-groups. The center may also provide support for dedicated lab hours and structured study sessions as needed to enhance learning opportunities. A typical day will include but is not limited to: assisting students with study strategies, content review/interpretation, mastery in understanding/comprehension, facilitating language practice during lab hours, and guiding collaborative learning during scheduled study sessions.
