In this hands-on role, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide vital medical and psychiatric care to patients. Position Specifics:
Work Schedule: Casual position, primarily weekend shifts: day/evening/night weekends Will include rotating holidays. We are unable to work around extended holiday and summer breaks. Location: UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (3811 O’Hara Street, 15213) Pay Rate: $18.00 (Set Rate)Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Assistance: Assists with physical care, clinical interventions & daily activities. Documentation & Communication: Document in medical records. Communicate with treatment team regarding patient observations & care. Safety & Crisis Management: Maintain a safe environment. Effectively manage crises using positive approaches. Team Participation & Environment Maintenance: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings. Ensure a safe & clean milieu.
