We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Student Accounts Advisor to support our School of Nursing and School of Radiology. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our education team—ensuring students and families receive excellent support regarding billing, collections, and account management.
Your Schedule:
Part-Time, Day Shift Monday through FridayNo weekends or holidays
What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality customer service to students and families regarding student accounts, payments, billing issues, and refund requests
Prepare and distribute timely and accurate billing statements in compliance with federal, state, and VA regulations
Support financial aid and registrar functions by updating and maintaining accurate student account records
Attend orientations to inform students about account procedures and expectations
Ensure accurate posting of charges such as tuition, housing, meal plans, and insurance
Perform reconciliations, process refund vouchers, and assist with tax reporting (e.g., 1098T, 1098E, 1042)
Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve account management
Participate in financial year-end close activities and audits
Engage in ongoing professional development and required training
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience with accounts receivable, student billing, or financial services preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF) required
Experience with Workday and QuickBooks a plus
Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
