Description:What You Will Be Doing
This position will support F-16 modification, upgrade
and overhaul currently being completed at Antofagasta, Chile. The home office is located in Greenville South Carolina. The position will require frequent domestic and international travel. Must be able to obtain and maintain passport for international travel. Additional requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Heavy Depot Level Maintenance, Repair and modification of the aircraft structure and major
subassembly's. Plan, layout, fabricate, assemble,
install, and repair various sheet metal and structural
assemblies and sub-assemblies utilizing precision measuring equipment.

- Must have a DOD secret clearance.

- Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.

- Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment.

- Work concurrently with the Chilean Air Force personnel on the modification of their F-16 fleet.

- The candidate will be able to complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions.

-Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance and/or modification activities

- Must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in their career field.

- Experienced in F-16 Structural repair and installation

- Be able to read & interpret blueprints and schematics
Desired Skills:
- F16 Nose to Tail experience in Structures career field.

- Experience working in Foreign locations with minimal support.

- Experience working and coordinating with foreign military personnel.

-Possess previous instructor / training experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
