Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Structures Technical Analysts (Experienced or Senior) to support Structures Team based in Everettor Renton, WA.
Within BCA, Structures Technical Analysts typically specialize in one of the following areas:
Certification, Documentation, and Planning/Integration
Data Management
Structural Analysis
Software Portfolio Administration
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Structures Technical Analysts.
Position Responsibilities:
Works under general direction.
Assists in development of processes and tools to improve structural engineering.
Applies technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications, and resolutions.
Certification, Documentation, Planning/Integration
Develops certification plans.
Involved in activities to develop, document, and implement plans and processes relevant to certification.
Manages the certification related records and information in compliance with Boeing RIM requirements.
Data Management
Develops, uses and maintains data and data management tools.
Creates and maintains analytical data and documentation using data management tools.
Develops software tools that support structural analysis.
Structural Analysis
Performs limited structural analysis for design, fleet support and structural testing.
Develops the structural environment and detail structural performance characteristics to verify structural integrity using structural analysis methods, math models and finite element models and simulations.
Computes margins of safety for structures for ultimate, limit, discrete source, or other loading conditions as appropriate under lead engineer guidance.
Verifies both content and completeness of analysis data versus requirements.
Software Portfolio Administrator
maintains analysis tools catalog, manages the change control process and change requests, assesses change request for approved backlog (new product and capability), and assists with Stack-Ranking Approved Backlog for New Product (discretionary) and Maintenance (non-discretionary).
Coordinates with the analysis and development teams to ensure the analysis tools are built correctly to meets the needs and objectives of all parties involved'.
Monitors the entire analysis tool suite and associated projects to ensure alignment with business goals, optimal tool lifecycle, and confirm tool investments are in line with strategic value, financial viability, and return on investment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
3+ years of experience in the technical field, ideally supporting software, structures, materials, engineering, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
6+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of aircraft structures, payloads or systems commodities.
3+ years of experiencein technical analysis. (Preferably related to aerospace structures or mechanical systems).
Programming experience such as VBA, Python, and others
Knowledge of database management tools (e.g., Records Management Database, Access, Excel, SharePoint) and/or operating systems protocols
Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
Ability to determine, apply, and perform arithmetic operations in order to solve complex problems
Experience with analysis software catalogs
Experience with project management tools
Experience in coordinating technical information between multi-disciplines/multi-skill level groups

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $65,450 - $88,550
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $78,200 - $105,800
