Structured Products Group Corporate Debt Finance Vice President

The Structured Products Group within Wells Fargo Corporate Investment Bank is looking for a Vice President to join in New York or Charlotte.  The candidate will be a member of the Corporate Debt Finance (CDF) team with primary focus on origination and execution of CLO transactions and asset backed credit facilities.

This role encompasses the following key responsibilities:

Provide leadership in the origination and execution of primary CLO transactions working closely across structuring and syndicate throughout the deal processInteract with CLO issuers and asset manager clients, investors, rating agencies, legal counsel, and internally with syndicate and sales, middle office and operations personnelCarry out the execution process of a transaction, including marketing materials, documentation, guidance on structuring and deal modeling, rating agency correspondence, investor requests and analysisWork closely with senior members of the team to help drive growth of the CLO franchise in generating new issue mandates by connecting CLO managers and debt and equity investorsAssist in the underwriting and execution of asset backed lending facilities including both broadly syndicated CLO warehouses and middle market lending facilitiesFurther responsibilities include facilitating term sheets and legal documents, managing the diligence and credit approval processes and overseeing the portfolio management of credit facilities

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years' experience in CLOs, structured products and/or leveraged financeProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsProven client relationship skills as well as extensive product knowledge and technical expertiseOutstanding problems solving and decision-making skills Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skillsAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are importantStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to adapt to a constantly evolving landscapeAbility to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely mannerBS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or economics

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeRegistration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
