Are you an experienced structural engineer looking to bring bold ideas to life across a wide range of unique and challenging projects? As a Structural Engineer II, you’ll lead the design and execution of custom structures, including mezzanines, platforms, foundations, and more, from initial concept through installation. Working closely with a team of engineers and project managers, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and collaborate while performing advanced design work in the office and supporting builds in the shop and out in the field. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of structural design principles and standards who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. With a flexible schedule that may include travel and occasional overtime, you’ll never stop learning or growing. What You'll Do Perform Structural calculations, 3D design, 2D drawings, component specification, assembly, and documentation according to jurisdiction standards as assignedCommunicate with localities to determine jurisdictions that affect assigned projectsRecognize and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customersAssign, oversee, review, and provide feedback to other Engineers on work assignmentsVerify that end products meet the project scope, budget, and needs of customersCollaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and purchasing to communicate material needs Interpret and create drawings, layouts, and other engineering documentationManage and supervise assigned personnel and ensure effective performance management
